 Everyone loves a romantic o-pei-la (note: opera pronounced in Taiwanese) with a little touch of Taiwanese flavored Happiness.

《Happiness Part1+2》is a joyful melange, an original Taiwanese musical with a fusion of dance, vaudeville show and Taiwanese / Mandarin folk songs. It is the masterpiece of O-pei-la theatre after over ten years of efforts pouring in by Golden Bough Theatre. The story is comprised of interesting episodes centred on A-Cai, a plebeian, who returns home after having wandered around for 15 years. All the characters in the play, in the karaoke, loveable, pleasant or detestable, are reflective of the reality. Gaining and losing are both the lessons of life. As in the memories of yours, mine and many others’, happiness is always found in simple life. This is a play full of fantasies and surprises waiting to be discovered!
